Weaving a landscope at Port Eliot

This weekend we were invited by Hole & Corner, the magazine which tells stories of dedication though craft, to Port Eliot festival in Cornwall to build our own 'hole and corner' at the festival.

We took some of our bendiest hazel and finest band-sawn ash in order to weave our very own landscape, from which festival goers could admire the viaduct over beautiful estuary on the river Tamar.

We were lucky enough that festival guests wanted to help us and so together we wove a conical shelter before moving it in a grand procession from the Hole & Corner tent, to its intended home beside the water.
